Planned Parenthood should be denied hundreds of millions in federal dollars that indirectly subsidize abortion services nationwide, speakers at a rally Thursday told about 90 pro-life supporters outside the group’s Springfield health center.
“The funds can be reallocated elsewhere,” Pastor Donald Mayes, organizer of the Springfield Prayer Summit, said while standing in the bed of a pickup truck parked outside the Planned Parenthood clinic, 1000 E. Washington St.
